Maybe it's because I was just reading Beowulf stuff in conjunction with an upcoming Old English rant, but reading #1 there has got me imagining you yelling "I! AM! AI!" and slamming Grendel's arm in a door. (Hmm... needs moar syllables.)

I, however, must also agree and empathize with reading #3. Not a day goes by where I wouldn't give almost ANYTHING to be in awesome fiction instead of crappy boring unreal reality.
