So Ray returned to Pairs for a few days.  Well... not returned exactly... or did he?  This time situation is most confusing.

He asked Solomon to look after me.  I do not need looking after!

Anyway, what I'm saying is he's probably just worried about you.

Maybe because he's more worried about what could happen if you came with him than he is about what would happen to you here.

Plus, Solomon's got most of us cops to help out in case he's not enough. It's just smart on Ray's part, I think.

I do not need the whole of a département de police to look after me. I can take care of myself. I feel like he's saying I can't.

((He's still glad Ray worries, he's just arguing the principle of the thing. ^^;))

I don't see why he has to ask Mr. Sugar to do it. I live with you, after all. Course I probably need looking after just as much as you do...

Trust maybe? Though it would be sad if he trusts Solomon more than you. I don't think either of us need looking after.

We don't exactly get along very well. Lord knows -I- trust Mr. Sugar more than I trust Ray. That's not saying much. I don't like Mr. Sugar right now either.

Don't know why he doesn't like you. You're a good friend and you've taken care of me when I'm sick. I guess I don't have to ask why you don't like him, do I? I don't know what he was doing and I have the vauge feeling I should be thankful for that.
