According to this article, season 11, episode one of Supernatural will air October 11th. (Another source says October 7th.) That gives me only two months and 16 (or 20) days to watch seasons two through ten. Last summer was MY fall into the Supernatural fandom. The first 5 seasons are definitely the best of the series but there is merit in the others, as well :)

There was a woman at the Supernatural panel at Comic Con this year who said she started with season one in April and watched a season a week. She's caught up. I wish I could put my life on hold long enough to do that. She must be single with NO responsibilities.

I've had photos of Aidan Turner (Poldark) for ages to use for icons, but I've been so swept up with Supernatural that I never got around to it...until tonight.

I started the summer before Season 8 aired (2012) so I guess that's 3 more seasons for you. Good luck! Hope you are able to catch up before you start watching Season 11 :P

Wait, but at the pace you've been going, you're already up to the last three episodes of Season 1, right? That's not much different :P You don't HAVE to watch Season 11 right when it starts either. You can keep it on tape and watch it later. You will catch up sometime :D I do one rewatch a week for my reviews, and even I will catch up eventually because of the hiatus'. I've done 5 seasons in 2 years LOL.

I'll be watching the final three season one episodes tonight. I have company coming Thursday for a couple days so I'll start season 2 over the weekend. I also have season 3 on hand and have ordered 4 and 5.

I'm getting very behind on everything else by spending all my evenings watching Supernatural. I have 42 hours of TV recorded on the DVR. Yikes!

Right. I think you shouldn't push it. Just record the show and when you can get to it you do.

That is a lot of TV to watch in a short amount of time and I suspect if you don't watch it... there will be stuff you just don't understand.

Personally I'd wait either way to start season 11 until you're done with the first ten.
Can you tape the episodes as they air maybe?

Yes,I can record each episode, but I'd like to be watching season 11 when he rest of you are so I don't miss the discussions.
