I told myself I was going to take a short break after season two, but SPN is like crack...and I'm addicted. I watched the first three episodes tonight and loved, LOVED, LOVED them. These guys just get better and better.
THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN - Great music: Hell's Bells by AC/DC and You Ain't Seen Nothing yet by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. The Seven Deadly Sins made a great plot device. It was the first appearance of Katie Cassidy (love her) as Ruby. I already know that in season four Ruby is played by Jared's soon-to-be wife, Genevieve.
THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT - Scary kids are well, scary and these kids were very scary. I almost closed my eyes when that saw blade started spinning because I just knew what was going to happen. I loved Dean's face when he was trying figure out if Lisa's son, Ben, could be his son, too. Ben was a really cute kid and I loved how much like Dean he was. The mother who drove her creepy daughter into the lake looked so familiar and I finally placed her. I don't know if any of you watched Resurrection (cancelled now), but she played Rachel, the woman who returned from the dead and was pregnant. Hmm, so Katie Cassidy/Ruby is a "good" demon and wants to help Sam free Dean from his demon deal. That should be interesting.
BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK - What a hilarious episode and it had me laughing out loud several times. I was happy to see Lauren Cohan as Bela in this episode. She's wonderful as Maggie in The Walking Dead. I noticed she got to speak using her natural British accent; in The Walking Dead she has an American accent.
This is turning into a Supernatural journal. I do have some other things I want to write about if I can ever tear myself away from SPN. Right now, I'm about to fall asleep on my keyboard because it's after 3 AM.
