A Video Everyone Should Watch

May 02, 2017 20:49

Jimmy Kimmel's wife gave birth to a baby boy on April 21st who was born with a congenital heart defect. This is the very moving monologue Jimmy did when he came back to the show. It's an amazing story, but don't worry, it ends happily. :>)

So sad, but such an important message at the end. I hope it makes an impact on our government.

This is such a moving video. I saw part of it on the news last night, but I'm glad you posted the whole thing. I really hope this helps bring support for affordable health care for everyone to Congress and people start pressuring their Representatives and Senators for it.

Yes, parts of the video were shown on all the news shows, Entertainment Tonight and most of the other late night shows. The message at the end in so important, especially since the House today passed that dreadful AHCA legislation. Everyone says the Senate won't pass it and I sure hope they don't.

And I hope the Republicans take a beating big time in the 2018 elections.

I saw that yesterday. I'm happy he gave this testimonial. We must have affordable and available health care for everyone--no exceptions. This has to happen. Thank you, Jimmy.

I heard what the House did. I sure hope the Senate won't pass it, too.

Well, I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed that they don't.

This is one of the things I really don't understand about America. I'm not saying we have it perfect in Norway, but everyone gets the help they need at an affordable price.

I completely agree. The US is the only major country that doesn't have universal health care. Even Russia has it !!!

But health care is a big business in the US. The pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, hospitals and even doctors all want to make as much money as possible and the patients be damned. They don't want any kind of control and limits them.

It's horrible!
