I have finally buckled and created a livejournal for the posting of fanfiction. I read what is probably an obscene amount of it and in the past few months I was inspired to create my first (and thus far, only) fic of my own. I loved it. I love Remus, he's my favorite, and Narcissa is just. I don't know, I love her too and I think you captured why. The two of them together is such a cute idea. It was just perfect!

Incidentally (i.e. unrelated to my fic), I love your name (username? I am a livejournal noob and don't know what it is called, my apologies for that). I assume it refers to the musical--and perhaps more specifically the movie version of said musical? Which is pretty much my favorite thing in the world. In any case, that's fantastic.

That's a lovely story. It's an unusual pairing but you've made it work especially keeping Remus in character. (And good that you didn't forget Peter either.)

Thanks! And yeah, I know the pairing is a bit weird; the whole reason I wrote this was to prove that it COULD make sense. I'm glad it does!
And yeah, Peter. He gets left out of so much Marauders-era fic (not that I can blame the authors), but, for better or worse (well...for worse, as it turned out), he WAS their friend, back then.

This was such a powerful and lovely story, so moving in its simplicity and at the same time, colouring in bits of canon moving as it does with such a fine, graceful flow. Everyone seemed in character and the dynamics between Narcissa and Remus, as well as between the Marauders, and finally, Narcissa - all were explored so well and gave such insight into the characters.

Really very accomplished.

You did a wonderful job with this piece, taking a pairing that one would think is impossible and making it seem plausable. If you had not mentioned in your notes at the beginning of the story that this was your first fanfic, I never would have thought this story was a first attempt.
