koyama gender!switch
Koyama doesn't even realize something wrong with him until several minutes after he wakes up.
He rubs his eyes, yawning, and pushes Nyanta off his stomach. Runs his hand through his hair as he stumbles to the bathroom. He washes his face and glances in the mirror. He frowns, pinching at the skin near his hips.
"When did I gain that weight?" he mutters himself, "And when did I get moobs?"
He puts his hands on his chest, the skin there feeling more tender than he remembers.
He shrugs, figuring it's bad lighting in the bathroom and grogginess.
shige body!switch with nana (yes, his dog)
ShigeMama isn't sure why her son is lying in the hallway, gnawing on the plastic cap of a bottle, but as she steps over him, she figures blaming his stressful work is a fair assumption.
Nana is sitting in Shige's chair at the dining table is odd too, especially how she turns, nearly looks through ShigeMama, barks and turns back to Shige's phone on the table. She makes a mental note to change the brand of dog food they feed Nana, and then puts away the groceries in her arms.
The phone rings, Chirarizumu playing out in the kitchen. Nana gently takes the phone in her teeth and trots out of the room.
ShigeMama does her best to ignore that.
An hour later, Koyama shows up, looking a little stressed and kneels next to Shige on the floor, talking to him quietly. He doesn't seem to be paying attention, still at war with the plastic bottle cap. He drags Shige up the stairs to his room and the door clicks shut. ShigeMama wonders if her vitamins have expired, or if she's eaten something that isn't agreeing with her.
ryo / shige :: once upon a time
Koyama saw it first, years ago, in a bathroom. He arrives late to practice one day; not because he overslept or anything, but because of unavoidable school things. He steps in, and Kusano's immediately at his side.
"You need to go find Shige!"
Koyama blinks and drops his bag on a chair. "What? Why?"
"Nishikido-kun apparently didn't sleep at all last night and-"
Koyama cuts him off with a hand. He knows what the rest of the story is going to be, so he heads out.
Shige's not out on a balcony, or hiding out down on the junior's floor. He finds him easily enough though. Not because he actually finds Shige, but because he finds Nishikido, hovering in the hallway, outside the door of a bathroom. He looks up guilty when he hears Koyama coming down the hall.
"I'm sorry," he immediately says. "I didn't mean it. I'm just tired."
Koyama nods, patting Ryo on the shoulder, and then he heads into the bathroom.
Shige is sitting on the floor by the sinks, knees pulled up. He's not crying - at least not any more - but he is quietly sniffling.
"Nishikido-kun is outside."
"I know," Shige mutters. "I could hear him pacing in the hallway."
Koyama walks over to him, ruffles his hair and goes back outside.
"I think you should go talk to him," he says to Nishikido.
He just gawks at Koyama and refuses.
"Just go," Koyama sighs and meanders down the hall.
When he looks back a minute later, he sees Ryo's head and shoulder are in the doorway of the bathroom, and then he steps in completely. Koyama can't help but tip-toe back to the bathroom door and press his ear against it.
"Don't take me so seriously," he hears Nishikido say.
"Could you just not say those things in the first place?" Shige replied.
"I don't mean them. Really. Just don't listen to me."
"I can't help it."
"Why?"
"Cause you're you."
