This was an interesting read. It's a refreshing thing to actually learn some thing, even if not really a lot, or only vaguely, while reading fic.

Because knowing about Shinto gods is so useful ;3

Thanks, though ♥

Haha, well I'm an Asian Studies major, so it kind of could be to me............Well, not REALLY, but I can pretend like it is! Either way, I think it is still interesting.

I... really liked this one a lot. I love the feeling you infused it with and how you were able to keep it consistent. I've always loved the blend of supernatural and modern and I enjoyed this very much. Thank you.

Thanks! And, thank you for saying it's consistent; I'm so happy to hear that. I purposely did stuff like switch between "Ryujin" and "Pi", and I was really worried it would just be confusing.

aaaaah i definitely LOVED this. sucha new and refreshing way to look at things. I think i enjoyed this a bit too much(lol is that even possible) because i've been playing okami on the ps2 and okamiden on the ds...which is HEAVILY based on shinto gods and myths and stuff so i ended up reading up on that stuff anyway. so i was just like giggling to myself in glee when random gods popped up haha

..........aaaanyway i just loved the whole...mythical feel to it. even though they're both gods at the end, i still see a very much shige/pi relationship to it :) very cool ^^

Yay~ It makes me happy when people are excited to write my stuff :3

Okami is so fun!!.... If you're playing Okamiden, you must have it in Japanese, cause I don't think it's been released in the states yet...

This was amazing!!

I love how you managed to make Japanese mythology work in an AU of NEWS. The story flowed really well and the connections you draw between the gods' world and the real world where Shige lived worked out really well. Nothing seemed forced. Everything just flowed and the characterization of the gods/human counterparts were perfect. I KNEW Inari was Koyama and Hachiman was Ryo &hearts And you included Tegoshi and Massu too~ &hearts

Of course, Shige, with his brilliant mind, managed to become the next Masterful Counsel. YOU are brilliant for making it so that Shige's entrance into the godly world fit perfectly into a role.

I really enjoyed this~ &hearts

PS: I really love Yamapi's role too. It is SO like his normal personality. A bit impatient, but still has the ability to understand and accept others' opinions, but will brood about it. Perfect~ &hearts

Thank you!

And, of course I had Tegoshi and Massu in there! I did, though, have a lot of trouble trying to find a deity for them to correspond to (hence, why Tegoshi ended up as a buddha).
