So first I have to say that you did a FANTASTIC job tailoring this to everything I love. I adored the whole premise like woah. I shall now attempt to be remotely coherent about it. XD

The System - this. I just... that they did this elaborate work for the perfect solution and it totally fucked the majority of the world and they can't turn it off. The way the entire Japanese social and political structure had to change to cope with it was perfect. I can only imagine the toll it took on their spiritual and cultural views.

The Team - can I just say that the physio-tech in this just made me a little giddy? Of COURSE Shige got the tech that would make him both insanely useful, strangely OCD, and ALWAYS BITCHY. And Tegoshi's... that made me sad. I can't imagine our current little charmer being that cut off, and the way it affected his family and his team and HIM... and Koyama is weary to speak anything that could be taken as a question or order. I felt so bad for him. Sort of like the Midas touch, that gift. Massu and Pi's were ( ... )

Whoa. OK. I think this is your first fic after a while and what an awesome one for that. :D I felt like I was reading a well thought out post-apocalyptic novel. Awesome concept topped off with awesome characterization. The physio-tech for each of the members were just spot on. Especially Koyama being able to influence people just by talking and Massu being half delirious because of overheating. XD

I find it still a bit hard to read fics about the NEWS split, but I'm glad I read this one. So clever and a little bitter but also funny and hopeful. Wonderful, wonderful job.
