I so agree with this! In fact, just to make a point, I might simply turn around and GIVE the other one to the customer behind me. Assholes!

Yes indeed, The World. So rant on, you're totally right.
I can add to that not fitting in if you don't have kids.
As a single person I did get invited to more parties, so that's good, on the other hand I didn't get invited to couple-dinners, couple-vacations and all those get togethers where you need to be two people to qualify.
