I went to the Ehud Barak speech yesterday in Vancouver. I had a nice time and got to oogle cute Jewish boys. The yeshiva boys thought Robin and I were marriageable prospects, so they "chassidic flirted" with us. One of the guys was actually very nice, sociable and level headed. Stupid Canadians. I met him when I was in the army. He toured where I was stationed when he was a general we all really looked up to him. I love the name Barak as well. My Medic was named Barak (he was really crazy)

I had no Idea he was speaking in Canada what was the speach about?

He was at the Hillel fundraiser, tickets were $75 and dinner was $500. I volunteered so I got in free (but no dinner). He was well spoken (for an Israeli) and quite witty. I like the name Barak too, but I wouldn't want to name a kid Ehud, especially if they're going to live in the English speaking world. Yael is hard enough to pronounce for the goyim.
