Nelumbo... You can make anything here - there's no need to steal.

[...He has no answer to that. Why, why, why is it his job to make sure that a Ring spirit doesn't become a Ring spirit?! If it'd been someone like Marik or Yugi, they would be better.]

That doesn't mean you have to steal things here! [Not a great argument, that.]

Look, maybe you'll succeed- maybe in your world, you'll steal the Items. And what else? From shops- steal from other people who need their money and their merchandise? From tombs, until you're caught and punished? And maybe someday, someone will get in the way. Maybe stealing won't be enough. What else would you be willing to do? [That little tirade was fairly impassioned...]

This can't just be about revenge! Listen to me! You'll be just like him if you're willing to stop at nothing to get those items. [This is looking hopeless... But there's no real way to tell him anything more without implicating himself, given he already told Nel he destroyed the evil in his Ring.] You won't win, Nelumbo. Why do you think so many universes still have your Pharaoh, thousands of years later? There has to be another way.

And this is why it's possible for him to like an Atem. :U

You mean, Yugi? That's what his host looks like. The Pharaoh survives using his body. [That better be what he means, or Brooklime's stumped. Also, stop grinning like that. It's nearly enough to ellicit a shudder. In fact, for someone who's just (rather predictably) found his roommate stealing, Brooklime's pretty riled up.]

It's okay. Nel's somewhat an optimist. :U

I- don't think that's the case. There are still people after the Pharaoh in my time- and I think it's the same one. [People like you, for example. Does he really have to find a warped way of ambiguously referencing this?]
