Perhaps it's because of the fact that she has not only not met the current Yuuma in the DR, but also the fact that she herself was like this at a similar age. But spotting him on her way to Ara's day care, she slowly approaches, coming down on her knees to at least appear more or less shorter/less threatening than she actually is. "...Are you alright..?"
