[Necrofear's shiny golden bucket hat is turned upside-down on a table in the lobby, carefully out of reach of her baby's grabbing arm. Also on the table are two hollowed-out pumpkins that more or less survived her efforts to carve faces into them; one is filled with fun-sized candy bars, the other with caramels so sticky as to present a danger to dental work. She has taped a notice to the front of the table and is sitting expectantly behind it.]

Your fabulous and fashionable Queen and Minister of Culture wishes to see all of you in suitably entertaining costumes on Halloween, but in her peerless perspicacity she has discerned that not all of you have yet made up your minds regarding what sort of delightful disguises you might wear. To this end, she has compiled a list of costume suggestions and will graciously allow each undecided citizen to draw one from the Hat of Wisdom. Agreeable citizens may also help themselves to one tiny adorable chocolate, while disagreeable citizens are required to consume a caramel.
Disagreements with the flawless wisdom of the hat will not be brooked unless they are accompanied by especially persuasive compliments and/or presents directed toward your ravishing and rational Queen and Minister of Culture, in which case the hat may perhaps issue a second opinion.
