Delicious Cookies are the Perfect Apology.
[If anyone happens to walk by one of the main communal kitchens downstairs, they might hear several cupboard doors opening and swinging shut, if not the whir of electric egg-beaters or beeping ovens.
[Surprise of all surprises, it's Ruka who's making a mess in here today: she has several bowls out, full of batter and dough, cookbooks lined up neatly along the counter. From the ingredients gathered -- flour, sugars, eggs, nuts and numerous types of chocolate -- it's easy to guess that she's making cookies. Quite a number of them, too.
[Ruka, in the meantime, is standing on one of the numerous kitchen counters, searching through the cupboards.]
There's got to be a jar of honey in here somewhere...
[Someone may want to come in before she falls and hurts herself; anyone is welcome to keep her company while she bakes (or sneak a bite of cookie dough when she's not looking).]
