My basically brand new, 6 month old beautiful Macbook Pro baby just died. Stopped doing things. My brother thinks the harddrive is having dying problems. I don't know what's exactly happening with it, but all my schoolwork from this year is on it and I was stupid and DON'T HAVE A BACKUP ( Read more... )

Hopefully it works out for you bb. Macbooks are pretty fucking resilient though. I dumped half a can of root beer in mine and after letting it dry out for a few days it still works 2 years later. Hopefully you'll be able to get your stuff off of it before you have to replace the harddrive, because from the sound of it that's what's going to happen.

BB, DID YOU WATCH THE PACIFIC TONIGHT? OMG SO GOOD.

And I'm now watching Center Stage for bb Webster because I just realized he's in it today.

thanks!! I have hope that I can get my data off. I'm taking it in to a good local computer place tomorrow... siiigh, I really really hope they can get it, and then I am BUYING AN EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE FOR BACKING UP PURPOSES THIS WEEK. ARGH.

I did watch it!! It was really good. I think the longer I go, the more I like it. It has such a different feel from Band of Brothers, though... aaaand, I kept wanting them to go to Europe and have more adventures with my bbs that I love, haha. [BAND OF BROTHERS 2, I WANT IT SO BAD EXCEPT THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE] It made me feel less bad about my computer :) nothing like a good war movie to make you remember how good you have it... I'm glad we're starting to know the characters more! ALSO I FORGOT TO TELL YOU: Eugene looks like EXACTLY like this guy I know, except younger and ginger. It keeps surprising me.

AH BB YOU ARE AWESOME, I will never get tired of Center Stage, partly for the lulz, mostly for the awesome dancing, and partly for hot Webster and Sasha Radetsky (even if he can't act). yeeeeah!

Aren't you still under warranty though? I'd take it to the apple store, cause those kids know what they're doing. And event if it isn't they might help you (like when I needed my hard drive replaced and I wasn't covered under apple care anymore, he told me how to do it for cheap instead of having someone else do it ( ... )
