actually! when i'd initially set out to write this au i thought shit, i would love to get the same brand of agitation and melancholy up in here. and i'm not saying my fic compares, but if you liked this, and haven't already, you should definitely watch where the wild things are!
Oh, I've been meaning to, but I've never come to actually watch it. :O I hear people recommending it all the time, so I guess I should. :)
And yes, I did like your fic, even though it's tugging at my heart with all the sadness it portrays. I see it as a cloudy sky, with a tiny ray of sunshine that is Kai and the fondness he holds of the memories (I guess that's how you inteded this?), even if they are loaded with so much melancholy. What makes it "horrible" (don't take that too literally, please.) is that the bird boy Kouyou didn't want to stay and just disappeared from Kai's life. You did a good job with the fic, so pat yourself on the back and have an extra cookie to celebrate it. :) Thanks for writing and sharing!
yes!! it's worth the 7 dollar rent fee and then that feeling, afterwards, when you're just unsure what to do with yourself. then again i initially watched late at night/early morning so i'm not sure if that's actually applicable to you too, but man, it's just a jarring movie in all the right ways.
also! yeah i wanted to balance it, i guess, but to explain this i'd have to spoil the movie for you. i love that you caught on to that, though, bird boy kouyou. it's exactly how i see uruha sometimes.
gurl, i'm just gonna go ahead and assume you actually *liked this, and in that case then thanks! hahaha. if you haven't already, you should watch where the wild things are, it's a hotbed of 'strangeness' (':
