We spoke somewhat before on this. But I'll comment anyway.
I don't know if this is good or bad. It's good that he's gone, I believe that much. He's done so much harm, of course it is. But the result of him being killed is going to be much more fighting. At the same time though, there would have been fighting had he not been killed anyway. I hope they get a state, but I don't think that will solve it. But like yousaid it will help. Rambling now.

I'm against Israel on this particular argument. I don't agree that this will reduce violence in the middle east. I've never been on either side, but I'm pro-peace either way. I don't see their assassination as peace-motivated. I think it's just stemming from hate. And I know that he was a murderer, but I also oppose the death penalty for murderers, for the same reasons as above. I also think that if someone were to assassinate our president, I wouldn't support it as much as i wish he were gone. I think this is similar, that you wish they were gone, but it's hard to wish for without some violence.

Peace!

you might be right about it not resucing violence (obviously it is a violent act) but i just think the "turn the other cheek" approach is not good and that it just shows that they can do whatever they want and not get a response. I think your right that it stems from hate, hate for the people that plan the bombing of kids hanging out at the mall. I guess anyone who opposed killing in any circumstance would be against it, but it would be driven by a rule that they applied to any killing (as opposed to being driven because its Israel doing the killing).

yea man, peace, quick and painless.

i understand your point, i definitely support palestine on this either. anyway, i just wish there would be more mediators in this, rather than allies.
