try Oakland Community College, or Schoolcraft, or Henry Ford CC. Community colleges let anyone in, you just have to fill out the application & turn it in. Not sure where you are in-district for... if you get an associate's degree, taking the ACT/SAT really don't matter. if you've got the grades at a comm. college, that's all the 4-yr university cares about.
My problem would be that I already did try Schoolcraft once, for a semester and a half, before I got sick and tired of it and flunked out of my classes by deciding not to go anymore.
ok then try OCC. German is an awesome language. I took three years of it in high school, then stopped for the same reason you did. It isn't terribly hard to learn, either, at least i didn't think so. Especially if your first language is english.
OCC is a great school, actually. They have a campus next door to where I live, and have a great german course. There's just one problem for Nikki, unless she moves closer, and that is that I live 45 minutes from her house. Oh well. It'll work out, I'm sure.
