I thought the fat angle was really well-handled, and I can relate. I was also 30 lbs heavier than I am now in HS (lost a lot of weight and got much prettier after graduating and moving to Korea and subsisting on rice and vegetables not entirely by choice, lol), and I even though I was only 10 lbs or so above what my BMI said I should weigh at the time, the default comment by everyone who didn't like me was "fat". And honestly, my opinion of myself is very much like Ai's (that I'm only good for my looks and that they're the most important thing; doesn't help that various men in my life have always agreed with that -- it's getting better the older I get, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I still think that I must must MUST be pretty to be liked by anyone, and that I must constantly be dieting even though my BMI is now fine, even though I know it's bs, but... sometimes it's amazing how long into adulthood the scars of bullying in school can exist). That's why I love Ai so much and she's my favorite girl to pair the MC with. I chose

I doubt they have ever met a real fat person, or someone else did the dialogue for Ai's link? I don't know. But I haven't met a fat person who talks about food and how they are fat. Never.

Ah, I must have missed it on your pairings list. Rank 10 so made me cry and I was expecting massive hugs and healing butsecks. Damnit. I also wish they could at least make one male character gay or bi. Lots of other games have done it, so why not? Kanji and Youske felt like definite maybe bisexuals too.

LOLOLOLOL, so true. XD (Though personally, I think Yosuke is at the very least bi-curious as many people are at his age, whether they grow up to be a confident heterosexuals later or not. Personally, quite often when he made a jab at Kanji (like, "is he your type?") it didn't come across so much as malicious to me as more, "I don't know about this but I'm somehow REALLY CURIOUS and could you tell me about this, how does this work, are you really, fhdkjhek", just without the social skills to bring this across in any way that doesn't seem like he's a giant jerkface. This post is full of win. >w> I adore the Heaven track as well, I could just listen to it over and over. Very inspiring. As for the other music, it's mostly great but I love the style of the music in Persona 3 better.

If you love Persona 4 so much, you should consider looking into Persona 2 which will hopefully be released in America on the PSP. It didn't come out in America with the original release over ten years ago because apparently America was afraid of releasing a game with Hitler as an antagonist. xD LOL More importantly, you can actually be gay in that game. I mean, really GAY. The chemistry is WOAH.

I also agree that Yousuke is adorable and I love pairing him with Souji. Especially when they hug in his social link. >w>

I read every word of this post and was very amused throughout the thing. xD This is Beka, by the way.

There was a chubby girl in Persona 2, and they handled it in a much more realistic fashion, if you ask me. Apparently she used to be really cute when she was younger, and she in this guy had this thing going on but something happened and they were pulled apart. By the time they met again the girl had gained so much weight that she hid her true identity from the guy she liked because she was ashamed and wanted to be pretty for him. In the end he finds out who she is, though, and he likes her for who she is. I found that to be very sweet.

And like Megg said, you can be gay in P2. It's AWESOME. God, I love the character relationships in that game. AND IT'S COMING OUT FOR PSP SO YOU CAN HAS AND WE CAN HAS AND YAY.

I would go on about my favorite pairings in P4, but there's probably a character limit for comments, right? lulz.

Well my top favorite pairings vary soooo... Right now I'm really into Souji x Yousuke (of course, cuz that's like my OTP), Doujima x Souji, and Adachi x Doujima. I have some doujinshi of the latter pairing, but no one really does it the way I want them to. Dx /picky

I don't have a PSP yet either. xD I asked for one for Christmas though, so... yaaaaay. And we're gonna get some cords that hook up to the TV so I can actually watch Megg play the PSP. xD
