After Two Months

It seems like longer than 2 months and six days, but since I started this journey towards better health on October 8, I've now passed 500,000 steps. That's halfway to my first goal whereby I can be remimbursed by my employer for the cost of my Fitbit.

Awesome, Mark! Gosh I haven't been on live journal in a loong time! Keep up the great work. I love my jawbone. I just need to get better so I can get back to walking!

G, as I was reading this, the anthem from 'Rocky' was playing in my mind. Because this rabbit hole and me are old friends. I dropped down to 269 a few years ago and then gave up. Less than 20 pounds away from getting off my BP meds, I quit and started eating anything that wasn't nailed down again.

Today has been difficult due to goodies around the department. This next couple of weeks will be hard for that reason.

As to the 5K, my hope is to run one next year. Then run another, then another, and another. I want to run them with my kid who asked me to run one with her. I mean, how cool is that, right?

And good for you at the gym. Knock 'em out, G.
