So I should be writing my archeology paper at the moment, but there's something that I want to ask everyone for the hell of it. I'm planning on eventually putting together Kamen Rider armor, but the question is where should I start. Here are the ones that I'm debating on:

I've always been fond of Den-O, being the only Kamen Rider I really watched much of(not a lot, mind). It looks the most visually striking to me, as well.

You should finish it! Den-O, while somewhat confusing towards the end, is an excellent show on the whole.

I think you're right on the visually striking part, it's just the faceplate that I'm going O_O about mostly, as I have no idea how to do that effectively.

Yeah, I kinda stalled out on it about... 7 episodes in? I think I got distracted by reading and never came back.

Not taking the helmets into account because I have no idea how to do those, I personally think the first or the third would probably be best for starting.

I've read about using paper mache for the helmets, it's really the lenses of the eyes that I have no idea how to make work.

I'm probably going to go with OOO, just because I have more room to mess it up and I'm not too terribly out of it.

I'm not going to vote yet, cause a think a big part of the equation is the availability of the belts. Of those that're listed, OOOs and Den-O are the only ones I've seen in stores around here lately. Do you have any belts already?

Apart from that, as far as shape goes, I do think that OOOs would be easiest to mold, though you'd probably need some help with the painting. The easiest way to handle that would be to do it like a stencil: start with yellow, red, and green armor, tape over the parts that need to stay that color, and them spray paint the rest matte or semi-gloss black.
(And just fyi, I'm considering making Ankh's arm before I try to tackle an entire suit. ;3)

I haven't actually gone and bought any of them yet, but I have found a listing for all of them on ebay and they range from about $30-100+ depending on how old they are and availability.

Sounds reasonable. Again, the only part of that costume that my mind just boggles over is that center emblem, which is by far the most intricate thing about that suit (and the eyes, but that escapes me on all of them).

Probably a good idea :D
