FRAGILE DREAMS X1000000000000000000000000 Which reminds me I need to finish that app for P.F. ... It's my favorite game. The ending's kind of cheesy and it's really easy but it's sooooooooo good.
I'll think about it XO I've heard it's good, but there's so much other stuuuuuuff. I do need more Wii games, though ^^;
1. GET TO THE CHOPPA, GET TO IT NAO! That was probably one of the best conversations I have ever had with anyone XD 2. A kind of pinkish red, I think. Something warm. 3. Gosh, I'm not even sure. I was really excited when I saw that there was a Haruhi at Econtra and I have to say that you were one of my primary reasons for trying the game. Helped that you're awesome :3 4. I want to say a cat. Who's also something of a spazz. 5. If you could be like any one character from anything, who would it be and why? 6. I always get this nice, warm, and fuzzy feeling when I talk with you. You seem to radiate it through the internets, which is impressive.
It is I had planned on blogging the whole game but I quit doing it after 5 hours.
1. HOW COULD I FORGET? I ALMOST FORGOT. xD 2. Everyone's been saying some form of pink. 3. askjask I never knew I had influence. I'm glad. You playing there helped me keep Haruhi going as long as I did. 5. Back in the day I actually wanted to be more like Haruhi. Just because she did what she wanted to and didn't really care what people thought. Even though she was secretly depressed I admired her strength, courage, determination. Everything I ever wanted to do/say/be but couldn't because I was too shy/scared/worried she would have done. I have gotten better about these things since my first year in college. More comfortable with who I am and willing to actually work on and redefine the parts I don't like.
tl;dr I'm fine with being me. 6. d'awww /)///(\ I don't have any words to reply.
I'm probably going to go with P4 and some other things, depending on what's going on at MovieStop (because if I can find Star Trek seasons on the cheap, then hellz yeah I'm buying those). I'm not sure if there's really enough there to warrant both >_>
1. NUOH, YOU CANNOT FORGET TEH GOVENATOR OF THE CALI-FOR-NI-A! HE IS VISIBLE FROM THE SPACE THAT IS OUTSIDE THE EARTH (Ahnold noises). 2. Is that a bad thing?
I've been missing Kyoko a lot, lately. Only problem is that with Japan last year and my last year of University, I just haven't had the time to break out any of my muses at all (Kyoko and Hughes are probably the two that I miss the most, they were awesome).
I've played them all (save Investigations, but I own all the other AA games), I just don't actually own them D:
P4 is an amazing game. I'm playing P3P right now and I've played the original P3. I like the story, even if it is a little slow in my opinion. I like P4 better, I think it incorporates the characters a little better and the fighting system is soooo much more coherent and easier to use than that in the original P3. P3P works off of the P4 system and I think it flows more smoothly that way.
Well, I haven't finished Okami yet. I bought a used copy at a Gamestop once for $13, played it once, went on vacation, and the next time I tried to boot it up it just died. Somehow it got scratched to all hell within a five day period and I don't know how. So I think I'd like to play the first game all the way through before I tackle a sequel.
I'm glad your last semester of school went pretty well. I'm also happy to hear that you're Japanese is going along well; I'm surprised how fast mine has degraded, especially since I studied it for roughly three years nonstop. I'd thought it'd last longer. Hopefully when I get some more time, I can do some studying and eventually take the JLPT, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.
As for games, all I play is Steam and Minecraft (GET MINECRAFT. GET IT NAO.) so I don't have any good suggestions for Wii and the like. (Other than don't get Pokemon, but you know me.) As for movies, though, Scott Pilgrim was surprisingly excellent, and how can you not Interstella 5555?
Do yourself a favor and take the 3 if you feel you may not be up for the ridiculousness of the 2. You can always upgrade later and you won't lose any money if you downgrade (3-5 cost about $10 less than the 1 & 2, I think
( ... )
Okami is absolutely beautiful o_o This is where I wish that my copy didn't get scratched to all hell somehow so I wouldn't have to buy it again.
I beat P4 perfectly on my first run-through when I borrowed it from a friend, but I had a walkthrough, so I technically didn't do it my own way. Plus some friends of mine have never even heard of the game and I feel that this needs to righted! Hence why it's up there and probably why that's more of a sure thing than anything else on the list.
I cannot recommend Okami enough, but please get it for the PS2. I hear that the Wii controls were not as good as one would expect, which would ruin the experience.
999 was good, but the exploration modes were broken up with lots and lots and lots of talking. Despite the claims, there is no time limit for the player. There are six endings, only one of which is a good one, and you need to pay very close attention in your travel path.
Chrono is Chrono, and the arena mode didn't really impact the game much. Fun, but it's not any different from before.
Have you tried the Etrian Odyssey series? Fun, old school RPG dungeon crawler.
I've both played and seen played Okami on the PS2, and if I bought it, I would would probably go with the PS2 version, as I've also heard of the problems with the Wii controls.
I don't too terribly mind walls of text in a game if the story is good enough to warrant my interest, and 999 seems like something I'd enjoy from what I've heard. Knowing me though, I'd play it twice and somehow end up with the same ending despite doing things differently o_O
I have never beaten Chrono Trigger, because when I played it first time, I played it on my roommate's SNES and went and got EVERYTHING. I ended up having to face Magus' mom and then Lavos with no time in-between, which I couldn't handle. I primarily want it so that I can try and see the other endings as well as own a game that I really, really enjoyed.
I haven't, actually. I think you mentioned them in Japan, but I already forgot how you described them to me ^^;

And get Interstella. For those reasons, you absolutely need to.
