I wish I knew every language in the world, or maybe half would be enough, or a quarter even would suffice, and spoke them like each one was my first. But I can't. I only speak two, English and some Chinese. *sigh* But learning each language takes years, and all the culture behind the language, so that each one is dear to me. Chinese, Korean and Hindi are probably the easiest to learn around here because a lot of people speak them, so if you practice with them enough you end up sounding not like you learned them in school but like a native speaker. It's great. And then you start understanding things. Each brings it's own benefits
