Procrastination.

Because I have about twelve or thirteen articles left to do, two collumnists left to find, and two books to read, I've been procrastinating in volumes yet unknown to man. You can tell because I spend all my time updating LJ, researching colleges, and making garments. Last night I added the first ruffle to the bottom of a skirt I've made out of a ( Read more... )

I've got fifteen articles to do, four chapters of the AP US book, and I have to read All Over But the Shoutin'. Mann. I think I can get it done in time though, I'm trying to read a chapter of AP US every day (if I manage that I'll be done with AP US by the time my mother gets back from Japan), and two articles a day (I managed one and a half last night). The good news is, I did find all the columnists--I assume you're looking for Safire and Dowd? I can send them to you, I've got some of their columns saved on my computer--Dowd is back from book leave, by the way, so she's been writing regularly on nytimes.com.

Gahh, I have to start looking at colleges too. ANd HELL YES I JUST CALLED AJIHEI AND THEY SOUND VERY HIRINGEY erm anyway good luck with the ap langing. and you cna't throw a tantrum, I already cut my hair this year to give to locks of love! it wasn't this short, but I cut off a whole ten inches, that was your tantruming chance.

GOD employers put me in good moods I'm happy today~~~~~~

Actually, I have Safire and Dowd, thanks to Blossom and the Trenton times. I also have Thomas Friedman and David Brooks. It's the other two I'm looking for.

Who IS The Moth? bbdkmom August 26 2005, 19:40:37 UTC
She is the one who has been reminding her daughter all summer that she needs to be keeping up with certain articles ("hmm hmmm" - think of Umbridge trying to get Dumbledore's attention) and who is now semi-livid (!) to learn that such blatant procrastination has taken place.

All summer I've put up with hours of Chinese music, strange noises in the night, and piles of dishes greeting me in the kitchen each morning, but I didn't make a fuss because I thought: At least She Has Done Her Work.

Don't worry, she did confess to me herself (I knew this before reading it on LJ). But consequences may very well be in store... "bwaaa haaa haaa"...

Kent and I are trying to start doing the dishes after we eat! I enjoy it, it's actually kind of relaxing! I suspect this might die once school starts, but I have hope for it.

Since LJ has strongly contributed to the procrastination problem, and there is still a significant amount of work for our dear Long baobao to complete, this subscriber's access to LJ will be temporarily suspended by The [evil] Moth until the backlog is taken care of and the horn practicing is being done on a regular basis.
