Well, sort of. It's a confirmation of what I already suspected. It COULD HAVE been the hearing aid, for all we knew. There were times I could hear better over the phone with my hearing aid than face to face, though I think that has more to do with the phone connection than anything else. It's what everyone was hoping for- damaged hearing aid. That can be repaired and I even have my old hearing aid so I'd have a spare to use.

The question now is if it's permanent or if drugs can help. To be perfectly honest, I'm betting it's permanent. It's still worth checking out. You never know until you test it out.
