"God damn it, control that stupid feline of yours would you, Taehyung!" Jimin yells as he storms out of Taehyung's front door, nursing a fresh scratch on his hand courtesy of Taehyung's cat, Yoongi.
"I'm sorry! It's not my fault. He practically hates everything that moves that is not me," Taehyung apologizes and looks up at Jimin through his lashes, signature pout on his face.
"I hate you and I hate your cat. It's either the cat or me the next time you invite me over," Jimin rolls his eyes and glares at the feline when he nonchalantly crawls his way beside Taehyung and sits down, as if saying goodbye to Jimin.
"He's cute, I swear!" Taehyung exclaims and picks him up to cradle.
"Whatever, Taetae," Jimin says and waves goodbye before making his way down Taehyung's front lawn to his car parked on the curb.
Taehyung pouts and blows at Yoongi's ears, laughing when they flicker. He presses a paw against his cheek, as if telling him to stop and Taehyung falls in love with him even more.
"Cute cat you got there," a voice comes from off to the side and Taehyung looks up.
His eyes grow wide. Standing in his next door neighbour’s front yard is an extremely hot guy wearing black low v-cut tank with sweatpants on. It isn't until Yoongi tries to wiggle out of his grasp is when he realized the hot dude has walked around the fence and is walking up his front yard. He gently lets Yoongi down and watches as the cat rushes towards the guy.
"Careful, he hates everything that moves," Taehyung warns and is unable to prevent his mouth from opening wide when Yoongi leaps into the arms of the male and purrs loudly. "What the hell?"
"He's adorable," the male coos and scratches Yoongi between his ears. "What's his name?"
"Yoongi."
"Yours?"
"Yupp."
"No, I meant what is your name," the male laughs and Taehyung swears he hears angels singing.
"Oh, Kim Taehyung,” Taehyung replies, blush spreading across his face.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Jeon Jeongguk. I just moved in next door a couple days ago. Hope we can get along," Jeongguk says and smiles at Taehyung, a cute pair of bunny teeth peeking out from his mouth. "Well, see you around, I guess. I got to go."
Taehyung waves goodbye at Jeongguk, still confused as to what just happened. He only comes out of his trance when Yoongi whines and goes running after Jeongguk only to be stopped by the gate Jeongguk closed.
"Yoongi likes Jeongguk…"
Maybe he's not the only one that likes Jeongguk.
