I cannot even BEGIN to express how tired I am of reading posts in which people BITCH AND BITCH AND BITCH about the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist series. Seriously? Shut the fuck up.
1. It's FMA. It's going to be good.
2. If you don't like the manga, you probably shouldn't watch it. Just stick to your first series canon and ignore this new series' existence. Watching this is like bitching about how much you hate green beans as you down a plate of green beans. No one is forcing you.
3. Don't talk about how much you dislike the art style after a teaser in which the characters were shown for FIVE SECONDS (if that) and approxmately 3 1/2 pictures. From what I've seen, it looks lovely. Just different, more true to the manga style, and perhaps even higher-budget. We may be used to the other style, which was fantastic, but different doesn't translate to bad. What is there to complain about!?
4. I don't care that you wanted to see the movie/series extended. The series is based on the manga. This is what they are doing. Go watch the Grandchildren OVA until your eyes bleed and leave this new series alone.
5. We all know you're really just pissed about the new series because it makes it harder to ship Roy/Ed. Just admit it. He wasn't banging him in the last series, he still won't be banging him in this one. The existence of a possible female (WUUUT?) love interest CHANGES NOTHING.
6. Beggars can't be choosers. We should be ecstatic we're getting a new series, not overly-critical because we're fucking paranoid about something screwing up the ever-so-delicate fandom balance. Just be happy you're getting ANYTHING you selfish, whiny twats.
7. Stop hoping that this will bring the old names back to the fandom and concentrate on the new ones. There is talent beyond those Age-Old Prestigious Names. XP How about you hope for a round of renewed interest and maybe some new, fresh talent?
