Yeah, I work on ads for a plastic surgeon who offers Latisse... and every time she sends me information about it for their ads, I want to vomit a little.

that's a little crazy. not quite sure how they justify small lashes as a medical problem....

although one thing that is kind of surprising is that my grandmother needs a face lift because her eyelids are drooping down into her eyes (and it's affecting her vision....and it scares of that she still drives). but she is doing the more complicated procedure of an eyebrow lift (or whatever it's called) because she just think the idea of needing a face lift is ridiculous.
...yeah i love my grandma. it's a little silly though.

Apparently it works for people with a certain kind of alopecia ( people who have quickly thinning hair at any age.). There's one for eyebrows too that is supposed to work. It really sucks not having eyebrows and eyelashes because of their function not appearance. You don't realize how much water and other shit would go into your eyes without them until you've dealt with it.

Yeah, I can see how that definitely would be beneficial, but it's not marketed as something that would be medically useful, it's just marketed as a "HEY LOOK NOW YOU CAN BE PRETTY TOO except for that whole dark eyelids thing AND IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS YOU WILL HAVE STUBBY UGLY EYELASHES FOREVER!"
