Part two here! Feel free to reprompt posts from parts one and in part three once. If you do so, I'd reccommend leaving a link to your fill on the original prompt, in case somebody is tracking the first thread.

As in, Conner is a former villain (per Artemis) or Wally is a Martian (per Megan). Reinterpret! Keep their characters the same, but with a different explanation. Like, if Conner is a former villain, he was inspired to reform by Superman and now wants to be a hero just like him.
It's up to you if they end up with switched powers. Like whether Conner is now an archer or if he is still a clone (there's really no two ways about that one).
The switch pairs are up to you. Robin as an Atlantean? Or would Wally be a better fish man with secret daddy issues? And who should be the secret Cadmus experiment newly freed?
Go wild!

Yes, I now definitely want this filled too!!

I dunno :/ I don't think you can get around Conner being Superman's clone. You just... can't. Not without really making things complicated.
Basically, the canon backstories go like this:
Conner - evil science project
Robin - adopted
Artemis - reformed former villain (as far as we can guess)
Megan - ??? (I would say ordinary alien who wanted to travel, but there's the White Martian issue)
Kaldur - dedicated soldier
Wally - relative with good family
Or something~? I dunno. I love this idea, but it's hard to make work in a way that still keeps everyone close enough to in-character

It just... I dunno. Rather than the cloning part of SB's backstory, I find the "I was made by Cadmus but chose FREEDOM" to be more important...??? Besides, you need to keep the awesome Superman is a jerk dynamic.........
.... Or something. I don't even- Yeah, I have no idea how this would go.

(I'll admit, I just love the idea of someone else using the I-am-a-clone backstory really really interesting, which is why I love this prompt >_>;; )

I guess I'm too emotionally detached to appreciate the delicate feelings of both sides. I generally subscribe to the theory that Superman has some prior experience that makes him react so badly.
I kinda see Wally's lack of angsty backstory as his most important point. (Which... doesn't bode well for his love interest Artemis, but anyway.) He has a caring family and a mentor, even a grand-mentor! The most like him would seem Megan, who has 12 sisters and an uncle. But she's got the weird "hiding her true self" thing.
When I think about switching everyone, I kinda always worry about how that would influence their characters. I want them to be recognizable, so they can't be entirely different... Sigh. This is why I can't write this myself.
Dick should be Bruce's nephew. Or maybe "nephew". Serves them right. (Now, which backstory would that give him, hm?)
