We're going to get yelled at, aren't we... anonymous March 24 2011, 23:28:17 UTC
All in all, Robin's pretty mature for his age. He and his best friend Wally just... tend to bring out the worst in each other. Wally thinks it's the best in them, but Batman doesn't seem to agree. They egg each other on, really.

Five (ridiculous) situations Robin would never have gotten into if it weren't for Wally. (that he wouldn't have missed for the world)

Could be anything, from underage drinking to spying on the Justice League, stupid pranks to posing as Gods. Anything. Just need ridiculous teenage boy antics.

FIVE

Robin waved his hands in front of him erratically, hoping to get some space between him and Wally. “Oh no, dude. You cannot be serious.”

Wally swatted at the flailing limbs and put on his most convincing voice. “Oh, I’m dead serious, Rob. Besides, it’ll be fun!”

“That’s what you said when we went to that strip club…”

“But it isn’t a strip club, it’s Ancient Greece, man ( ... )

The name had its desired effect. Almost immediately, everyone gasped in shock and prostrated themselves, muttering something Wally couldn’t quite catch. He threw down the spears and smirked at Robin ( ... )

At the moment, he was just waiting for “Hermes” to stop pigging out and start touring Ancient Greece (that was what they came here for, but he wouldn’t put it past Wally to forget everything once presented with a plate of food) but it seemed that he wasn’t gonna be doing that anytime soon, so Robin decided to take matters into his own hands ( ... )

Batman jerked an eyebrow at this, but the announcement worked. The guards seemed visibly relaxed now, as did the people, but they wariness was still visible in their eyes. Robin didn’t blame them. He’d be terrified too if he was facing the god of war and destruction.

Seemingly getting the message, Batman played along. He let go of their arms, and looked down at Robin with narrowed eyes. “Why did you come here, son?”

Robin didn’t even try to keep the tremble out of his voice. “F-Father,” he gestured to Wally, who was just as pale. “Hermes has asked me to accompany him here, to Athens, because Zeus tasked him to see how its people lived. I…agreed for I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to mingle with their people.”

The infamous Batglare intensified. “And you saw it wise to go without my consent?”

Robin's own eyebrow hiked up. “With all due respect, father, but even if I did ask, would you have let me go ( ... )

OMG! I'm sorry for the late reply, my computer went down for TWO DAYS AUGH. Well actually my power went off for two days...

But omg I come back and this wonderful fill is finished! I have to say, I think this last one is my favorite. As someone with an interest in Greek mythology, it was perfect. And you made Robin Eros *Dies laughing* And! It was a stable time loop! They got the caduceus from Wally!

I love how Batman plays along at first to not cause a riot... and then the lecture... for some reason I'm just seeing Wally and Dick looking down and scuffing their feet... XD

The funny thing is though? Seeing as the Greek Gods are canon in the DC universe, all I can imagine is the real Hermes and Eros watching and going "What?! Who are these impostors?" either that or being greatly amused.

THANK YOU so much! This fic is awesome! I can do nothing but flail about for adjectives to use to describe how much I liked it!
