aka - Robin is the most annoying hostage ever. I image he's been kidnapped so many times (as Robin and Dick Grayson), he's more irritated/annoyed then terrified. So, can I have a fill where Robin is kidnapped, and he makes snarky comments and is just plain annoying ( ... )

It was just another trip to the store. Or it may as well have been. That's how fucking old this shit was. Chloroform was such a familiar taste/smell, he may as well have used it to brush his teeth every morning. He was so used to bags being shoved over his head that he might have worn them as hats daily. He was so used to the feeling of ropes wound around his wrists and ankles, that he could have worn bondage everyday ( ... )

"Dick Grayson?" Artemis asked. "I totally go to school with that kid."

"Yes, well now he needs your help. His guardian tracked his location to this warehouse in Gotham. I'm sending you coordinates. Complete this mission as quickly as possible while drawing as little attention to yourself as you can. Grayson is a very important individual, and if he is harmed in any way someone will pay dearly. You'd best pray that if that is the case you aren't the ones to pay."

They had just gotten there, when Artemis posed the question, "Where's Robin?"

Wally stopped and looked at everyone. "Robin wasn't there when we got briefed," Megan said, eyebrows furrowed.

"Look," Kaldur said, "We haven't got the time for this. Robin is fine. We need to get in there and get out. Robin-shit" Kaldur sighed. "This is going to be harder without him. We need to do this quietly. Megan, can you scan the building for distressed individuals?"

"Right." She was quiet for a while, clearly concentrating. "I found one," she said finally. It's beneath us, probably in the basement."

"Are there any guards?"

"From the looks of it, quite a few, and there's another person in the room with our target."

"We need to hurry. Superboy, if you see a guard, creep up behind them and take them out quietly." Superboy grunted an affirmative. "Okay, is everyone ready?"

They nodded.

When Robin walked into Mount Justice the next day, no one said anything, and when Batman clapped him on the shoulder in a similar manner to the way the Bruce Wayne had clapped Dick on his, they all held their tongues.

When Dick pulled acrobatic stunts in the cafeteria, Artemis choked on her food, but her lips were sealed.

They didn't ask questions, and they sure as hell didn't make comments, or even talk about it other than the exchanged looks. If anyone ever asked, Dick Grayson and Robin the Boy Wonder were as separate and Bruce Wayne and Batman, because if they weren't, that was just too damn scary.
