We all know that Robin is an aerialist. Even more, he's a performer. And he truly loves the rush. He can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie, except it's not quite recklessness, because he really is that skilled. Half of the things he does would be just plain suicidal from anyone else, but with him he's just having fun.

SO! Five times Robin gave his friends a near heart attack due to his acrobatics, while he has no idea what the heck they are getting so worked up about.

second aerialist!Dick fill in three days. Obsessed? Me? Naaah.

At this point, he kinda doesn't notice any more. That may sound a bit silly, but it is true. When he's bored, or when he's sitting still, or any time, really, he just...moves.

A handspring here, a tuck-n-roll there, just a way to bleed off energy, and stay in shape.

He doesn't get why people want to stay upright and on the ground anyways. It's so boringBut the first time he jumped off a building around his new team, Miss Martian tried to catch him ( ... )

Haha, well if you're obsessed, then so am I, because I think I may be the op of the other prompt you filled. There's just something about it, I just can't get enough. I only wish I was talented enough to actually write something. For now I'm sticking with trying to do art fills.

BTW, I am loving this so far. Thanks for the fill!

*giggle* I'm assuming the bit he pulled on SB was reminiscent of that sudden drop move that silk aerialists are so fond of? I love seeing that. It must be so phenomenal to do. *___* This is the cutest fill, I love it.

Kaldur is more used to living a weightless life than the others, and so he sympathizes with Robin the most.

Still, he can live on land just fine, and he does. Sure, he misses the ocean, but he doesn't crave it. At all. Not even a little. Not a bit. Not at all.

Mostly.

So maybe he does spend time floating in the pool in their mountain; but that's what the pool's for, right? It's even salt water.

But he doesn't let it distract him from the team, and Robin doesn't let his restlessness distract him either.

Kaldur knows, logically, that Robin feels the need to be in the air, to be high, and to fall. He knows this. He understands this.

But the first time Robin uses Batman's folded arm as leverage to climb the man and settle on his shoulders, he almost has a heart attack.

“Robin!” he hisses from behind the boy-draped man. “People are not jungle gyms! And that's Batman!Robin, upside down, gets a grip on Batman's upper arms through the cape, and uses them to slowly fold his legs down and around, so his toes are almost touching the ( ... )

This is sheer brilliance, thank you. Oh my God, just the imagery of Batman being used as a jungle gym and not even noticing because he's so used to it... and Red Tornado not seeming to react while Kaldur freaks out... I am DYING.

I feel sorry for Superboy, being made to screech like that, that wasn't very nice Robin. And using Wally as a springboard and Wally not sure whether to be insulted or flattered... XD M'gann's worry was sweet as well, and the last line of that part was just perfect.

And Artemis's part. Oh goodness yes. How she actually seems to know it subconsciously before she actually realizes that he's Robin. Also, this line: “I'd hate to think you had two dashingly handsome acrobatic superheroes who save you on a constant basis.”
I LOVE THESE TWO. SO MUCH.

Seriously, this whole fic is perfection. Thank you so much for it.

I will be laughing forever at Batman submitting so casually to use as a human jungle gym. This whole thing was brilliant.

"Batman continues talking to Red Tornado, and, despite letting his arms be manhandled into being leverage points, he doesn't seem to notice."
This may be one of the most adorable images I've ever gotten. <3<3<3

This was a wonderful fill, all around hilarious and sweet.

So the next day, when Superboy walks into the gym, Robin just falls from the ceiling where he's lurking, and scares the crap out of the poor boy.

THIS. From now on, whenever I see the word "lurking" I will forever see Robin hanging from a rafter, giggling like the trolling little shit he is as he prepares to drop, like an evil multicoloured spider, onto the back of poor, innocent Superboy.

Thank you for that. anon. I think I love you, and your ninjatroll!Robin :D
