I haven't watched a lot of Dr. Who (n00b, planning on catching up on nu!Who over the summer if I can, and working back from there), but I've seen enough to know that I heartily second this. A lot.

I don't think he'd have a British accent if he wasn't raised in England. If he was born (I'm going with a 'half-timelord wally' thing) in the US, that's all that'd matter. Now if he was adopted at like five or six maybe he'd still have the accent...

Alfred in Torchwood would be SO COMPLETELY AMAZING. Alfred as part of ANYTHING is amazing. Heck, he could be EVIL and he would STILL be my favorite. xD
