Superboy thinks there are monsters under his bed. He goes to each of the members of YJ for reassurance.

Aqualad explains that monsters don't exist. (Conner's not convinced... there are metahumans out there after all.)
KF goes all scientific and nerdy and tells him that monsters and magic are basically all a load of rubbish.
Miss M tells him what her Uncle told her about human parents making that story up so their children will stay in bed until morning.
Artemis assures him that if there is anything under his bed, he's strong enough to rip it's head off.

Robin goes to his room with him and checks under the bed. Then he does a quick search of the closet too. Because he remembers what it's like to be scared of bedroom monsters more than the others.

Bonus if he ends up staying the night in SB's room.

Prompt thought up for Gen, but a Superboy/Robin pairing would work really well here too!! :D

Basically just an excuse for an adorable bonding fic between these two ^^

He blinked awake properly, looking up. Robin stood there, rumpled and mussed, hair everywhere and sunglasses on crooked. He carried an oddly shaped pillow under one arm and rubbed at his face.

“There’s something under my bed, but it keeps hiding from me.”

“Ah.” Robin offered a hand down to him. “I’ll have a look, okay?”

He blinked and nodded, letting Robin pretend to help him to his feet. “Thank you.”

Robin went in first, setting down his pillow - was that a deformed bat of some kind - and then laying across the bed to peek underneath it. “Nope, nothing there now.” He got up, pushing his sunglasses on more securely and moving to the closet, checking in there. “All clear.” He shut the door again and turned back to Superboy. “You’re all good, nothing in here ( ... )

This is so fucking adorable, I've got the goofiest smile on right now. Aw, Robin, you always know just what to do to make things friendlier, even nightmares and shadows.

This is the cutest thing ever! I love that Robin has a bat pillow and that he's not afraid of the shadows because it's just one more place for Batman to step from! And SB hugging Robin, ehhh~! Wonderful job, awesome fill! :D

I really like how you got all the YJ members to chime in without Superboy going to all their doors. I particularly loved Wally's calm, extensive scientific explanation/suggestion, up against Artemis's succinct and pragmatic one.

Robin has a BAT PLUSHIE. alsdjflj What an adorable image. Even cuter is one of Superboy just picking him up as a talisman against evil. I just loved all of this.

One thing: when Superboy sees Robin in the hallway, he's standing, but then Superboy helps him to his feet? (I know this was just a quick fill, but thought I should point it out.)
