This is going to be a rather unusual request. Multiple fills are encouraged.

Open your preferred music application and put it on random/shuffle. Press play and then skip two or three songs. Whatever song plays next you must write a story for.

Any characters, any genre, any pairing.

Just let us know the song that you end up writing about.

(...Oh wow, I can't believe I just wrote this >_< Apparently I was feeling sappy? And maybe it’s just me, but I sort of get the feeling that M’gann would really like old romance movies :P)

M’gann liked Earth’s pop culture. She started with whatever she could get her hands on. In the beginning she was undiscerning and watched everything from 16 and Pregnant to 30 Rock ; from CSI to the Gilmore Girls and all the shows in between. The other members of young justice occasionally attempted to introduce her to their favorite shows, but M’gann, for the most part, was left to her own devices when it came to absorbing pop culture.

It was only a matter of time till she developed preferences however. And to her surprise, M’gann found she enjoyed old movies. Anything in black and white was the best because everything was so much simpler: boys courted girls and the most intimate thing you could do was kiss with mouths closed, pressed reverently against each other ( ... )

(correction to the last sentence: supposed to say "hold his hand". Dunno how the "s" got in there >_<)

On their latest mission, the bioship passed no less than then a dozen billboards with half naked women and men on them and when they started working the streets M’gann caught glimpse of teenagers desperately half having sex in alley ways and she couldn’t help but wonder whether her desires for a good old fashioned romance was too far-fetched to consider.

After returning back to Mount Justice, everyone headed towards the teleporter ready to go home, laughing all the way. But when M’gann turned to go back to her room, a hand landed on her shoulder, effectively stopping her in her tracks.

“...Are you okay?” Superboy asked quietly, eyes confused and curious, “You seemed...distant.”

“No, I’m fine.” M’gann replied wearily, “Just...thinking about things.”
“Like what?”

M’gann hesitated at first, but eventually broke down and told him because he might actually understand, if only a little. “It’s...romance related.” She admitted, ( ... )

Awww, I'm so happy for her! *hugs Megan* This is sorta close to my heart, and I'm absolutely in love with it. Any chance of deanoning and posting it to your journal? I'd love to add it to my memories and read it again sometime. :3

Unfortunately I'm a lurker for the most part at the moment ^_^' Haven't actually used my LJ account for yearrsss. I've been contemplating getting a new one to de-anon some of the fills I've been doing for this meme but I haven't decided yet. If I do de-anon I'll be sure to post a link :)
