Superboy winced at the thudding from Kid Flash's room. While neither he nor anyone else was going to complain that Wally and Artemis probably wouldn't be fighting with each other quite as much anymore, he did wish they would be a bit quieter about it.

From the swamp, an oozing, ghastly figure rose. It lurked through the woods, then the city, slowly devouring all those unfortunate enough to cross its path.
It's most recent victim, a girl with red hair, screamed loudly and awoke the neighbors to her plight.
In hazy shades of gray, the figure oozed away again, leaving a small pool of blood and nothing else.
"I think watching this was a bad idea," Wally squeaked as the next victim, an elderly man with a shotgun, was messily devoured. M'gann and Artemis nodded emphatically.
Two hours later, M'gann crept through the hallway, trying to watch all the corners and keep her back to the wall.
It was just a movie. Come on, you face scarier things during missions. Right?The hallway was still too dark, and every noise made her twitch ( ... )

"Don't you think it's a bit odd," Robin said, "that, despite living on a deserted island with no hair care products, razors, or make-up, all the females look like super-models?"
KF blinked at him, hazy grin fading a bit for the first time since crashing on the island.
"Um, no?"
Robin hated being the only one unaffected by puberty yet.

"It's locked..." kaldur said as he jiggled the door handle.
Without missing a beat, Superboy kicked with explosive force leaving only misshapen metal hinges on the wall.
Robin ran to join them but slowed down when he saw the pile of splintered wood in the doorway. "I don't know why I bother to steal the keys since you always insist on kicking the door down."
The leader put his hand on the clone's shoulder and squeezed before entering the now unlocked room. "Well it gets the job done."
Robin sighed, throwing the keys to the floor and following him.
He would have to explain later to Batman why he had to pay for yet another destroyed lab.
