Robin is out of the team for a few days. On a very important mission, Batman assigns Batgirl as a sub.

Bonus: Wally hits on Batgirl
+Bounus: The team doubts her abilities. Batgirl proves her worth.
++Bonus: Batgirl reveals some embarrassing things about their Boy Wonder.

Batgirl totally taught Robin to hack. And she's much better at it.

"...which will give us a straight shot to the primary reactor/distributor link lines, thus allowing us to bypass the secondary security hub altogether." Batgirl finished her outline with a wave of her hand, her wrist-mounted hologram disappearing in the flourish. "Any questions?"

"Um, yeah," Kid Flash spoke up, "We still can't get through the front door?"

"Ah!" The redheaded girl turned back to her wristputer with a smile. "Hmm. Lexcorp SecurityOS version 10.1.2. Tricky."

Wally snorted. "Yeah, but, Rob explained this once. Even he can't crack Luthor's software, and, no offense gorgeous, but you're no--"

The speedster was interrupted by the heavy door slowly sliding to reveal a metal corridor. His jaw fell.

"But...but Robin said it was impossible..."

Batgirl clapped him on the shoulder with a patronizing smirk. "I know. Bless his little heart."

Aqualad grunted as his waterbearers--and by extension, his arms-- took the force of the beastiomorph's heavy blow. Dr. Sivana's genetically augmented guards were indeed formidable. Behind the creature, he could see Artemis fumbling for a shock arrow to use against her own opponent

"Umm...thanks." Superboy politely acknowledged the compliment, even if he wasn't sure what the violet-garbed girl was actually saying."

All things considered, Batgirl was nothing like what the Clone of Steel had expected. She was cheerful, which didn't seem to fit. Batman was subdued and intimidating, shouldn't Batgirl be the same? She more like Robin, sunny and enthusiastic, except she looked less likely to loose patience with him for not understanding the references she made.

Aw, these were all just wonderful, with all the girls being quite distinct, badass, and lovable. I don't even know which one is my favorite. Hacker Babs, super ninja Cass, or cheeky Steph? To have bits of them all in the YJ universe has made my day, thank you!
