"Wally!" Roy grabbed the bowl from his friend's grasp, holding it up above his head as if to stop Wally from reaching it. "That's Dinah's potpourri; it's not food!"
Blue eyes went wide. "But it's smells like fruit and I'm hungry!" He whined, clutching at his stomach. "And you've got no food."
Roy scowled, setting the bowl on a high shelf. "I only just got back from a week long mission, Wally, of course I have no food."
Seated at the counter, Kaldur paused in packing up the medical kit and smiled at them "Perhaps we should leave, Wally. Roy needs some sleep and we can stop somewhere on the way back to base."
"But he might have a concussion," Wally stressed, hopping from foot to foot. "We can't leave him. I'm just... hungry ( ... )

Look at yourself, Roy. Just step back and look. You are making biscuits while KF watches TV and Kaldur filches the dough. You are Mum.
I loved the touches on Roy and Kaldur's interaction. Y'know, watching for injuries, fondly listening to the muttering. It gave that touch of intimacy that made the familial analogy work.
