Ollie's Chili

(Inspired by a YJ-Head-canon post XD)

Green Arrow's the den-mother of the week. Everything goes well until dinner time, when Ollie cooks them a huge pot of his (in)famous chili!

Bonus! - Artemis is used to her mother making spicy Vietnamese food so she loves it and can't understand their pain.

He didn't know what was the matter. He had made it perfectly--he was sure of it! But the kids were flipping out. Wally was downing an entire gallon of milk--a feat only a speedster could handle without vomiting. Kaldur was at the sink and had his entire head in the water filled basin. For a second Green Arrow worried that the kid didn't come up for air--but of course he wasn't. Fish kid, duh! The little martian girl had turned red as her hair and was fanning her mouth, making high pitched little yelps of distress.

Superboy simply stared at him with a pained and very betrayed confused look. Like he had did something WRONG. All he did was make them dinner!

Robin and Artemis watched the others, still eating, unperturbed. Wally finally tore himself from his second half emptied milk jug. "I thought you two were HUMAN." He hissed out.

"Does this mean I can have yours?"

Wally threw an emptied plastic jug at Robin's head.

Haha, I love the bewilderment. Great Ollie-voice in describing the affected segment of the team--those ingrates! My favorite was Superboy's mega-puppy-look.

I'm kind of in love with stories where Robin and Artemis come out on top despite their lack of meta-advantages. The Robin-Wally exchange was the perfect clincher to this hilarious fill. Great job, Anon!

Cause I can just see Rob and Arty having these innocent 'I don't know what you mean?' expressions before smugly taking another bite.

I feel betrayed. I keep being told of this 'Green Arrow's Chilli 'o Fiery Doom' and that recipe is just a chilli recipe! The only difference between it and mine is I don't put sugar in mine. ...and now I'm hungry for chilli. 8D GUESS WHAT'S FOR DINNER TOMORROW~
