So can we get the end of Home front from his point of view? Him realizing that communications are down, that the kids might be in trouble and are alone, and trying to get back before realizing that the Zeta tubes are also down? And in his own subtle way, maybe without even him quite understanding it, him freaking out about their safety? Because apparently, the moment he figured out something might be wrong, he tried to teleport back, and when he couldn't he went somewhere else and apparently flew the rest of the way. And then he comes to find the place in shambles.

I love the language you had him use, it's technical, rational, distant (and yet..). I loved his reasoning, that it was an important duty to protect the children, because by his understanding, biological children are considered very precious to biological life forms. I can just see Reddy, in his studying of "human" behavior, recognizing that and thus taking the task of protecting children very gravely and seriously.
Of course, that's just by his understanding, and you managed to do a good job of writing that and the more underneath, that he cares for them as well. Like this line:
The android reappeared in Providence, Rhode Island. At top speed he would arrive at the Mountain in 8 minutes and 36 seconds.
Correction: 8 minutes and 32 seconds. It was just so perfect, because it is so Reddy, and therefore technical etc., but it's also Red flying so damned fast to get to them that he broke his own calculations. And ( ... )

It was pretty fun getting into Red's head. He's such an interesting character.
