The mentors are off at their own party, which sidekicks(and everyone under 18) have been banned from ever since Hal Jordan's "incident" after too much grappa a few years back. This leaves the YJ team completely unsupervised, so they throw their own party. And Roy volunteers to make the eggnog. Anon's choice what happens next.
