I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

Billy (Captain Marvel) was abused sexually at some point in his childhood (not by Uncle Dudley, please), but he hides it and masks the resulting mental scars with his usual optimism and not a small amount of repression.

He thinks he's left all that ugliness behind him until a fellow league member begins casually flirting with him one day as Captain Marvel. They don't know he's ten, and don't mean any harm, but Captain Marvel freaks out and has such an extreme reaction that shocks/frightens a few other league members.

Doesn't matter whether or not there's any fallout or revelations to Jutice League or Young Justice members at the end.

It had just been another Justice League meeting, that was all. Those that had partners (lucky duck, Captain Marvel totally wanted a partner how awesome) were discussing the fact that they were going to be moving up soon and all that (so he could maybe meet them! Robin and Kid Flash and Speedy and Aqualad!), while he slumped in his chair, fidgeting absentmindedly as the voices of his fellow superheroes washed over him

Oh billy, poor baby. And Black Canary... that's uhh... not so good. I know you don't know, but still, not so good. Oh what a little knowledge can do to change your perceptions of people.

No, no, don't put yourself down this is wonderful. And, uh, terrible, too, but in the heartrending way that has me just DROWNING in feels over here and oh Billyyyyyyy.

I think you're writing the League members perfectly, and - hn the way you write the sentences just sort of stream-of-consciousness really captures the way it feels to be inside his head and I can't - I can't. ;~~~;

Billy gasped, loudly, trying to shy away from the slippery appendage that made a trail around his ear, licking firmly until the mouth came to rest on his earlobe, tugging slightly, and he let out a small whimper. The voice released him and laughed. “It’s a good thing you like this, Billy~” it cooed, trailing a finger up his ribs, before spreading it out on his bare chest, toying absentmindedly with a nub while the boy clenched his eyes shut, just wanting it to be over with.

“You tried to run away~” it continued, in that falsely happy voice that he did not want to hear, as the hand drifted again, moving lower as it toyed with the top of his boxers, the only thing that he was still wearing, and he tensed, frightened. “You know what that means, don’t you Billy?” Even had he wanted to answer, been able to answer, he wouldn’t have, could never speak during these times, he couldn’t have, mouth descending upon his own and licking, sucking, taking his bottom lip and toying with it in its teeth, while, below, hips rocked against his own very

This fic is lovely in a terrible sort of way. I just want to hug Billy, but I don't think that will end well. I hope the League figures out what's going on and manages to help him.

You're doing an excellent job with a rather difficult topic. I can't wait for the next update!

So sad! But awesome! Please, please continue this story! We must know what happens to Billy and how the JLA reacts to finding out about all of this and the fact that he's 10 years old. If it's not too much trouble could Superman know his secret identity? But definitely finish this please!!!!!!!
