Prompt Post - Part Ten

Mar 11, 2012 17:03

I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm ( Read more... )

A/N This is really weird. There’s not much of a plot, and no resolution. It gets really dark towards the end. Part One is completely safe, though. (Nudity, and if you squint, incesty undertones, because of how some of the characters interact with the Cities ( ... )

A/N As I said, there’s not really a resolution. This part is kinda weird. I’m putting up trigger tags just to be safe, but most of what’s going on here is conceptual ( ... )

omg this, thisssssssss ;v;
It's so beautiful.

I love all your cities. Gotham just gave me the right amount of chills. But...where's Robin in the middle of this? I wonder if she feels as possessive considering he wasn't born there, but in a way, she's the one that pulled him as a permanent resident.

This universe is absurdly awesome yesyesYES

Robin, I imagine, is off with the rest of the League rounding up the Cities, and finding himself oddly drawn to Bludhaven, who I imagine to be something like a trafficked young girl, broken, tragic, without quite the grace or madness of Gotham, and destined to die from an overdose. Dick likes Gotham, but it's not the same as it is for Bruce, and I don't think Gotham feels nearly as possessive of him. Where you're born, and how much you contribute to the life of the city is really important here.

Gotham drew him in for Bruce's sake, and when Bruce no longer needs him, she'll let him go (although he'll always be welcome back).

Op here- wow, just wow, this is awesome! The darkness, the secrecy, and fact that they wouldn't have any clothes, but at the same time, they know each of their people. And I think you're right about Bruce, but I like how you characterized everyone.

Oh~ How lovely. I like your choice for Lex's relationship with Metropolis, but Gotham and Bruce... you gave her Martha's face. That gives me shivers.

I love the idea of the Joker saving Batman this time. Batman needs to pay attention to him, and I bet Gotham loathes the Joker, her bastard, unwanted son.

Great, great fill
