I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.
If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm

The man known in this world as “Wally West” does not believe in magic.
…how does he not believe? Does he not know what he is, what he is to her? Does he not remember where he comes from, the things he’s done?
(These are Thumbelina’s -Artemis, now- first thoughts as she meets him again.)
She does not tell him.
If Cornelius doesn’t remember her, if he doesn’t even acknowledge the fact that magic exists, much less fairies, then she’s not going to tell him.
There’s no way he’ll believe her, anyway.
And it hurts.
Badly.
She watches with forlorn eyes as her fiancé (that doesn’t know he’s her fiancé) flirts with anything that moves. She gets mad and argues with him because he’s flirty and scientific and oblivious, and it’s tearing her to bits inside. She goes to the apartment she shares with her ‘mom’ -never home, because it’s not home, not to her- and cries her eyes out because the man she loves more ( ... )

This was so good, poor Artie.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

When Arti-belina hears about that she's going to just die.

Arti-belina. I'm going to have to remember that. That's good. :D
...let's not go there, yeah? ;)

*sigh* I love fairy-tales. Absolutely adore them. Which is why this prompt got my attention in the first place.
Yeah, I've heard of the show. It sounds super interesting, but I haven't the time (unfortunately) to watch it. My TV watching consists of Young Justice, Legend of Korra, and Doctor Who. Plus assorted movies (most of which are Disney and/or kids movies.)
...yeah. I think it's best not to go there. ;)
I know. Everyone knows Snow White and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast (although I was slightly tempted to use that last one), but OP said fairies. :) so fairies it was.
Yes! The original Grimms tales are super creepy. The original Sleeping Beauty? *shudder*
Anyway, I'm super happy you enjoyed my fill (and don't worry, I monologue and ramble when I'm tired too).

Yay!
What happened in Sleeping Beauty? I just re-read it, and it seemed really, really comparably tame. ...Technically we should probably not clutter up this thread. Will you message me? Cause now I'm curious about that version.
Loquaciousness comes with exhaustion, I've found. You're welcome!

Thaks for friending me, by the way. ;D

And Thumbelina! I didn't even think of that, but love both the original story and the film! I'm tempted to beg for a happy ending, or at least a continuation, but it was so beautfully rounded off and self-contained I absolutely understand if you don't want to :)
Thankyou! And apologies for the overuse of exclamation marks in this, I'm just very excited by your fill :D

Yes, you can hug it. I'm really happy you liked it and thought it was beautiful. I tried. My writing (especially when I spit it out in half an hour like I did with this because my brain went 'WRITE...NOW!') doesn't always turn out like I want it too.
Hmmm...I was actually talking with my friend about this today, and I had an idea for a cracky oneshot connected with this.
(I'll give you a hint: 'Dearie! Marry the Mole!' hehe)
But yes, unless I do that, I don't think there will be a continuation (although you never know). I just don't know how I would continue it. Maybe Thumbelina's continued attempts to get Cornelius *cough*sorry, Wally, to believe?
And there wasn't an overuse. I think I counted...three? That's hardly an overuse. ;)
Once again, I'm so very very glad you enjoyed it, and I'm happy that I made you happy.

You've...never seen it? *shock* But...but...it was my childhood!
JK. Loads of people haven't even heard of it. I used to watch it when it came on on Toon Disney (even though it's...not Disney).
Super cheesy, but super adorable. And it's got amazing music.
Just as extra incentive to go watch it: ;)
