I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

Robin and Toph, kicking ass and taking names

Kaldur releases the security guard from the choke-hold, dropping the unconscious man gently to the ground. He moves forward slowly, signaling for Robin, Sokka, Zuko, and Toph to follow him down the metal catwalk. The rest of the temporarily combined team has the building surrounded at both exits.

Beneath them is a meta-cage-fighting ring that Batman has been tracking for some time. Recently, the only people leaving the cage alive are the victors. Today, the owners and operators - as well as many of the wealthy clients - are all gathered for their lethal sport.

The building is full of meta-humans, many of whom have powers that eclipse those of his teammates. Any misstep could turn disastrous.

"Hey" says Toph, ignoring Sokka's shushing attempts and gesturing to Robin's wrist computer, "Bird-boy, can you kill the lights with that?"

"Yeah, totally, why - oooohhhh."

She matches him smirk for smirk, "I knew I liked you."
Before Kaldur can reassert command, every light in the building goes out - probably every light on the block. A

I love all of these. They're (mostly) cracktastic and perfectly in character and completely entertaining, except for when they aren't. Then they're seriously awesome AU, perfectly in character and completely entertaining. And Toph trying to flirt is the most troll-tastic thing ever.

I actually did not expect this to get a fill, and I definitely didn't expect every suggestion to get love. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I kind of wish now I'd added six to ten more suggestions (maybe with Ursa or Iroh), but these are so wonderful, I will hold them to my heart forever and ever and love them.

All of these are brilliant and I completely adore them! They're funny, heartwarming, cracky, and all around awesome. Thanks so much for writing these (and if you ever feel like continuing any of them? Well, you'll definitely have one avid reader!)
