I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

He saved her, but he couldn’t save her father, and because of that, Robin can never forgive himself.
He, a death god’s son, practically royalty, took her in and saved her from the madness, gave her hope, and for that, Zatanna will always follow Robin.
They can’t resonate completely, one soul cracked by tragedy and the other driven half mad by it, but regardless, they’re still a team. A meister and his weapon.

D'aww! Robin as the son of Death! Kaldur and Roy feeling Madness! M'gann's carving her own name, along with Superboy!
I had a lot of feels about this, it's adorable! ♥
And you're right, no weapon can be a Meister AFAIK, but in Soul Eater, Death the Kid has his twin guns, Patti and Liz, and sometimes Patti can use Liz and vice versa, such as when Kid is having a symmetry attack. ^_^

I guess weapons can use each other but maybe not to as much of an efficient extent as meisters can? And maybe Patti and Liz especially can do it since they're twins so their resonance would work really well whereas when Black Star and Soul tried to team up it didn't work well at all. YAY THEORIES AND OH GOD PLOT IDEAS STOP HITTING ME Q__Q

That's what I've gotten, at least. And, yeah, since Patti and Liz are twin weapons (not actually twins, though), so they can do it. Either that or, because their the weapons of Death the Kid, not sure exactly. :3 But, yeah, when Black☆Star tried to wield Soul, Soul weighed too much for Black☆Star to handle.

What? It works, doesn't it?
I imagine that by two weapons who know each other well enough, they might be able to pull it off. I don't think a weaponxweapon pair would be quite as effective as a weaponxmeister pair, since they probably wouldn't be able to do Soul Resonance, but maybe that's the point. Everybody told the Team that it was impossible, that it couldn't be done, but they knew better. They specialize in impossible things.
I am totally digging Batman as the Death God. Only he'd actually act like a Death God. And Black Canary would be like Maria! And Superman's Death Scythe, which makes me giggle. He would be a total mother hen towards Batman (Death gods need to eat too!) but be the opposite of Maka's Dad towards Superboy. Poor Supey. I don't know who would be Stein, though. Red Tornado?
And the reason the madness is affecting Zatanna so bad is because she's a good witch. Only she and Robin can't tell anyone, because a) witch, and b) nobody's ever heard of a witch being a ( ... )

Yeah, it's kind of a bad crosssover habit of mine to automatically equate each character in one with each character in the other. I know I need to be more creative, but Maria!Black Canary is too awesome to pass up. And your Jade idea is really reminding me a bit of Medusa...she isn't the nurse, by any chance?
Why would they try and clone Superman? Unless he's like a super freak weapon that can kill anything in a five mile radius or something. I love your M'gann idea, though, even though I think that her family being an evil ninja clan or whatever would tie in better with both her backstory and Black*Star's.

Oh my god... this is just too beautiful... Zatanna being a witch and Robin's Weapon and Robin being Death's son and Roy and Kaldur and Conner and M'gann... so many feelings... just too awed.

They are all my babies and they need to STOP FLOODING ME WITH SO MANY FEELS. Seriously the DC universe is going to make me run out of feels one day
