Prompt Post - Part Ten

Mar 11, 2012 17:03

I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm ( Read more... )

TIME TO D-D-D-DUEL! anonymous March 11 2012, 19:07:59 UTC
So, what if Wally didn't ever become the Flash's Sidekick?
Now, what if he was in Domino for Battle City for being superb at strategy?

(Bonus: He still has super speed.
BonusBonus: The Power of Friendship is used.
BonusBonusBonus: He has a deck similar to Bastion's Water Dragon deck
BonusBonusBonusBonus: Kaiba knows Batman AND Bruce Wayne
BonusBonusBonusBonusBonus: Young Justice shows up after Kaiba calls in some 'favors' after his brother is kidnapped.
BonusBonusBonusBonusBonusBonus: The entire time? Wally's masked.)

He really wanted to show off his mad dueling skills, but Mom and Dad were so mad when he got Superpowers, that he decided that telling them that wish would only add to the flames of his parents’ anger.

So, he did the only logical thing.

He didn’t tell them.

And he made his way to the acclaimed Domino City, with deck in one hand, invitation in the other, (Which he obtained because of his mad masked dueling adventures.)

Okay, so maybe leaving home, without a word to anyone, with extremely untrained and unstable powers, and staying with a friend who he conveniently met during his dueling career, wasn’t the most responsible thing, but…

Eh, what can you do? A chance like this doesn’t happen too often. Or like, ever.

Might as well rock the house before he’s grounded for all of eternity.

Look out, Battle City, here I come.

Superboy = Iron Giant easier_smile March 11 2012, 19:10:48 UTC
So I just finished watching the Iron Giant for the first time, and needless to say it gave me many feelings. And then this came to me: Giant is a weapon who has that Superman thing going on. Now who else is like that? Superboy.

So Superboy = Iron Giant. Maybe Dick or Wally could be Hogarth? Maybe Dick, and Bruce could take the role of Hogarth's mom? As for Dean or Mansley, I'm not sure.

There's not enough Superboy slash, so that would be nice, maybe Superboy/whoever takes the place of Hogarth. For the other characters, I'm good with about anything save Wally/Dick.

A Princely Leader anonymous March 11 2012, 19:50:13 UTC
Kaldur, worried about leadership, reads Machiavelli's The Prince in order to get a better grasp on leadership and follows the advice.

Cue hilarity and/or drama.

Bonus: Aquaman talks to Kaldur about leadership, and asks about his change in dispensing it. Then he begins to read Machiavelli's works, and starts to apply things from both The Prince and Discourses on Livy.

Double Bonus: Realizing that Superboy won't exactly 'fear' him, Kaldur tries the whole 'loved and admired' approach- by convincing Superman to bond with Superboy using careful wording and manipulation.

Captcha says; ingsIV following. Appropriate, no?

YES, because Kaldur would totally take that seriously.

Second.
