"What's *wrong* with being treated like a girl?" anonymous May 2 2011, 22:52:17 UTC
"Everything. I am not a girl!"

FtM!Wally gets partnered with Artemis for a mission, and over the course of it, it comes out somehow that Wally is biologically female. Wally freaks out at Artemis, begging Artemis not to tell the others because she "doesn't want to be treated like a girl". Artemis freaks out because a) Wally's female, and b) what's wrong with being a girl?

Please, no bashing on anyone. I'd much prefer it if Artemis wasn't made into an evil transphobe or anything... She just doesn't know that Wally is trans, and is operating under the assumption that Wally hates girls or something.

Wally manages to explain that there is nothing wrong with being a girl... Except that he was born one, and it's wrongBonus for M'gann already knowing/guessing, and the two of them becoming bro's ( ... )

Seconded, tentatively. This could be really, really, awesome or terrible. Depending on how it's done.

Hmm... beach scene. He's still pretty young, but he could have had top surgery. With his build he totally could have been small enough for keyhole. Minimal scarring, even without speedster healing. No one would be able to tell.

also, hormone suppressants are now considered a legitimate treatment for trans children on the edge of puberty. Why correct later what you can prevent today, after all?

Artemis/Roy H/C anonymous May 2 2011, 22:52:55 UTC
A missed jump on patrol leaves Artemis with a swollen, throbbing ankle and no way of getting home. While she's cursing her bad luck and trying to figure out her next move, Red Arrow stumbles upon her. Of course, neither of them can really stand the other, but Roy's a gentleman and can't leave an injured girl alone. He takes her to his new apartment and checks out her ankle, and they start talking. It turns out that aside from their initial issues, they have a lot in common.

The next day, after a visit to the ER, Artemis thanks Roy for his help with a kiss. YJ and Green Arrow are suitably shocked.

Oh, SQUEE.

That is exactly the noise I made in the computer lab when I saw this had been filled. The entire lab thinks I'm weird, and that is your fault, anonwriter.

And I love you for it. :D

This was perfect. The snark, the cuteness. I ship this hardcore, and there's more coming! Can't wait!

Watching the disney Hercules movie, and it occurs to me all the parallels between Superboy/Hercules and Superman/Zeus. ANYTHING with that! Go crazy! Wally can be Mercury, Roy can be Ares, Artemis can be... Artemis. Get nuts on this one, whatever you want!

Mercury is Roman. The Greek name is Hermes.

You're right, I brain-fucked on that one. My twin brother is a history major for crap's sake!

Aqualad=Poseidon, I kind of thought of M'Gann as Demeter? But I couldn't think of anything for Dick.

Aqualad's first experience with fire.

It can be fun curiosity, like roasting marshmallows over candles in the living room, OR go the other direction with blind fear and panic, maybe he just burns his hand on said candles and freaks out because of the new (and painful!) sensation.

(Bonus points for someone helping him get over this fear, especially if it's Superboy finally feeling useful since fire doesn't bug him)

Robin and Wally wake up in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center and have to go along with GLaDOS's various tests to both fight their way out and uncover information on what happened at Aperture Science (because maybe the lab had something to do with a mission prior to waking up in the Aperture Science lab).
Note: For whatever reason, Robin can't just hack the computer system to win against GLaDOS and get them out, cause where's the fun in that?

I'd prefer the story to be dark and twisted, not cracky.

And I'd totally write this myself, but I've never actually played Portal, so I don't feel like I could do the fic justice

Hell to the yes and I use this icon to show my love and cake.... of course there must be cake in which KF rages that it is a lie.

KF: WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS A LIE?! I was promised cake!
Robin: Get over it man...
KF: BUT MY CAKE! I BURNED THE COMPANION CUBE FOR THIS?! *sobs*
Robin: uh... Sorry? *pats his back awkwardly*

Also maybe GLaDOS took Robin's glove? He does need it to hack and everything. 8P
