This year I got a Business module, for which the lecturer expects us to familiarise ourselves with business and financial news. He told us to buy broadsheet newspapers; I took one look at how much they cost and thought bugger that for a game of soldiers. So I went to the BBC website instead. You could buy "premium" loan contracts from banks and keep everyone afloat just a little longer?

Buying lots of shares and not selling them would have a tiny effect. or deliberately buying them at a high price. Though that may be illegal. Dont get me started.

Also, there are some student places that sell the broadsheets for cheap. eg the independent for 20p. I know the shop in shack did, but I think spar in the uni centre may too.
